Disney on Ice returns to the Southland later this month in Dream Big! Audiences will be transported into the world of their favorite Disney princesses as they go on amazing adventures and make their dreams come true. Join Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana, Jasmine, Aurora, Snow White and your favorite sisters- Anna and Elsa as they tell their stories through artistic skating and daring acrobatics.
Ask any of my friends and they will tell you that I was the unofficial photo-historian of our group growing up. There was rarely a moment when I wouldn’t have a camera with me (even back when it was all film!) Friends would joke that there would be barely any pictures if I wasn’t there. It was only natural that as I grew older, I would carry that love of taking pictures and capturing memories into adulthood. Now as a mom, I am constantly taking pictures of our family and of my daughter to freeze that moment in time.
What’s a person like me supposed to do with all those pictures? I’m ashamed to admit that I have thousands and thousands of pictures backed up on my cloud drive and a little overwhelmed with where to start organizing them. I love the look of photo books and printing out pictures but where do I even start?
It’s no secret that we are huge fans of Disneyland. We have an annual pass and live about 20-30 minutes away so we try to go at least once or twice a week to spend time with other friends who have a pass or to enjoy the day. When my daughter was younger, I used to pack a lot of stuff but I don’t take as much now that she is 3. Now that my daughter is potty trained, we don’t have to carry as much stuff but I still try to take things “just in case.”
Last night, I was able to watch Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment at the Honda Center and it was spectacular! This was my first Disney on Ice experience and I was amazed by the skills of the ice skaters and how they were able to skate so beautifully as well as tell the stories of each respective “world” they took us into of our favorite Disney movies and characters.
Prior to the beginning of the show, Mickey and Minnie along with Goofy and Donald led the audience in a few dances to get everyone excited about the show! They had the audience boogying and jamming which really electrified the air and filled the crowd with anticipation and excitement!
