I just came back from my first trip to Walt Disney World and now I know why people vacation there! I went as part of the Permission To Hustle Mastermind Retreat. More on that later and all that I learned but I wanted to share with you a few of the amazing things that should not be missed this Fall at Walt Disney World Resort.
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge
As you know, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge opened up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and what an opening! With wait times for hours at a time to fly the biggest hunk of junk in the Galaxy, those travelers visiting Batuu had the time of their lives in the most immersive and amazing land to be built!
If you’re planning on traveling to Walt Disney World this fall and stay at a Disney Resort property, from now until Nov. 2, you can get EXTRA Extra Magic Hour:
- 6am-9am- Disney Hollywood Studies
- 7am-8am- Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- 7am-8am- Magic Kingdom
This would give a chance to enjoy Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in the morning before it opens up to all the other guests. I’ll write more about Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in a separate post but take advantage of the early Extra Extra Magic Hour when there’s less people in the land and the weather is cooler!
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
From now until November 23, 2019, you MUST partake in the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. It started on August 29th so that’s 87 days of delectable dishes to delight your taste buds! Not only can you enjoy a variety of dishes and drinks from all over the world, but there’s plenty of entertainment and merchandise to buy.
Be sure to check out Eat to the Beat Concert Series at America Gardens Theatre where various artist perform nightly from now until November 19th. You can find out more information here or even reserve a dining package.
If you’re heading the Walt Disney World Resorts from now until September 30th, you can catch illumiNations: Reflections of Earth before it ends its 20 year run. But don’t be sad! It will be replaced by Epcot Forever which celebrates the past, present and future of Epcot with dazzling fireworks, lasers and choreographed kites. This will begin October 1st, 2019.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
I’ve always heard about Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party but actually going to one was a whole new level of fun! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party runs from now until November 1st with tickets as low as $79.
For the first time in 14 years, there’s a brand new fireworks show called Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular featuring Mickey and friends as they encounter a mysterious haunted house filled with dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and some Disney villains!
There’s also a super cute parade called Mickey’s “Boo To You” Halloween Parade that goes on twice nightly! I loved seeing the Hitchhiking Ghosts and the spectral Bride who was gliding among the waltzing spirits! The music was very catchy and the parade had all your favorite Disney pals and plenty of villains!
And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular that shows multiple times nightly during the Halloween Party. It’s a show that should not be missed this Fall at Walt Disney World Resort!
NBA Experience
The NBA Experience is now open at Disney Springs! If you happen to visit WDW this fall, be sure to check it out. You can participate in 13 unique experiences that merge Disney magic with the thrills of the NBA! This sounds like every NBA Fan’s dream come true!
